Shearing Ringworm

The disease is most common in India and it forms bald patches. It doesn’t cause a permanent loss of hair. If the ringworm is not immediately treated, the patches become larger and join each other.

Stop sending your child to the school, if he suffers from this contagious disease, to avoid an epidemic. Cut the child’s hair short to make treatment easier and cover his hair with a cap.

Diseased Hair

Ringworm and Eczema are common diseases of the hair. Ringworm usually affects children, in which one or several round-shaped well-defined grayish colored patches appear on the scalp, having thin hair broken off almost at scalp level. This scalp disease is caused by a certain type of fungi.
The contagious disease has two main groups: the Shearing Ringworm and the Favus Ringworm.
