Stila Kitten Eyeshadow Reviews? MEOWS about the Stila Kitten Eye Shadow

Calling out all Stila Kitten fans out there, because today I am going to let out a loud MEOW on Stila Kitten Eyeshadow reviews. Like how a lip gloss works on the lips, this Silk Shadow provides a subtle look for the face, making the product unnoticeable even when it’s applied. This product makes my eyes look even more mysterious and sexier. I love how this product is all put up.

I used to love Clinique’s Quick Eye Cream Shadow, and I even complimented it due to its doe-foot applicator. I think Stila heard how lovely it is to include a brush applicator like this so they also included it in the Silk Eye Shadow.

However this applicator does not mark the end of comparison between the two products. As a water-based product the Silk Shadow has thinner texture compare to Clinique Eyes, and this is what makes Silk Shadow a bit harder to put on.

Stila Kitten Eyeshadow Reviews: My Experience

I put it onto my eye lids directly using the applicator, and I used my finger to even it out. Unluckily, I had it scattered all over my eye lids, thus, resulting to a very uneven application with a splotchy color. Thank God I have a good brush applicator around so I eventually get the hang of applying it.

Stila Kitten Eyeshadow Reviews: How Do I Apply It?

1. I wipe a good amount of liquid eyeshadow on my hand (back part) using the applicator.
2. I use a small tip eye brush that is created working with emollient based items.
3. I load my brush to swipe it along the shadow clump’s edge, and I gently take out excess on my hand.
4. I stipple the eyeshadow onto every part of the eyelid by applying it first to the lids then slowly work upward to the brow bone until I get a layer of color.

Important Tip: Do not ever attempt adding a second layer, as I did, because it would create a caked-on, blotchy, and uneven color, awful isn’t it?

Although I think the Silk Shadow Wash provides a lovely appearance, I am having problems on its versatility. I cannot add an extra layer, so it’s minus the fun.

Now, here’s a nice story. While I was heading to work one day, I suddenly discovered that I forgot to put on a highlighter for my cheeks. Oh God! That sent me on a panic so I pulled the Silk Shadow out of my bag, and I highlighted my face with it. Presto! It provides my face with a perfect golden glow and instant pink. Who would think it’s courtesy of an eye shadow? This product saved me from makeup tragedy. And with that I would give it five stars!
