Pranayama Yoga is a breathing method, and is a science composed of several principles. It is a series of workout that is intending to supply the body’s needs and maintain a good health of it. This type of Yoga literally means “breathe control or breathing techniques.” It is the way of opening up someone’s inner life force and is not to mainly take deep breaths. It is meant for Yoga practitioners to prepare and help them in their process of meditation.

In the breathing process of Pranayama Yoga, we inhale and exhale onto our body, going through all over our body parts in energy form to energize every cell of us. Through the method of Pranayama Yoga, the oxygen’s balance and carbon dioxide is achieve, absorbing prana through control links our mind, body, and spirit.

Because of stress, problems are encountered by a person, whether on his mental or physical health. Pranayama Yoga teaches us on how to control or breathing to achieve an optimum health. Because stress can make us use only part of our lungs, and supply lack of oxygen to the body, it may result to serious health complications.

Certain disorders like insomnia, fatigue and vascular diseases like high blood pressure, atherosclerosis, and heart attack can be experienced. Therefore the negative energy of being troublesome and restless affects the body’s oxygen supply. When people practice Pranayama Yoga, he can feel a big change on his breathing since this practice reenergizes the body.

What are the Advantages of Pranayama Yoga?

Pranayama Yoga is a beneficial practice since it teaches people on how to breathe properly, necessary to join the body, mind, and soul. Of course breathing is a way of life, without it we’ll die in a few minutes. It is a vital function that we can never let go since we need to do it in order to sustain life. Breathing is an involuntary function that we do even when we’re sleeping or without concentrating on it.

Pranayama Yoga teaches us on how to breathe correctly, thus, it allows oxygen to be supplied to every part of our body without even including any effort. In addition, this Yoga practice also helps us to eliminate toxins from our body, letting us live longer and healthier. Aside from that, it is also the type of Yoga that aids digestion since it focuses on proper breathing. Metabolism is balanced in this Yoga type, thus, saving us from indigestion and other colon concerns.

Pranayama Yoga should not be done without necessary preparation, or it will cause serious problems like nervous breakdown or heart attack. Ask your doctor if this type of Yoga fits your current physical condition.
