Advantages of Natural Skin Care Products - Tips on Natural Skin Care for Man, Woman and Baby


The sun, cold, rain, heat, wind, water all are natural phenomena which can affect skin. the effects can be favourable or adverse. The condition of the skin varies with the weather. During winter, it tends to become dry and should be treated as such. In summer, the skin generally becomes oily. Hence, skin care should be adapted to the change in climate. The following summary should help:

Summer care for the skin

  1. Wash the face with soap at least twice a day.
  2. Cleanse the skin thoroughly before going to bed at night.
  3. Apply astringent lotion to an excessive oily skin.
  4. Perform a home facial once a week.

Winter care for the skin

  1. Avoid using soap as far as possible.
  2. Clean the face before going to bed and remove the accumulated dirt and cosmetics on the skin.
  3. Wash the face once a day, using tepid water.
  4. Perform a home facial once a fortnight.
  5. Apply a rich cream and moisturiser at night and also when going out in cold and dry weather.
  6. If your skin is excessively dry, application of a vitaminised face cream at night is recommended.

Monsoon Care for the skin

  1. A 3-step skin care programme in cleansing, toning and moisturising should be made part of your daily routine.
  2. Do not forget that an oily skin needs a moisturiser too. Lack of moisture enhances the tell-tale lines, giving an impression of older age.
  3. Moisturise the area around your eyes daily at night. Wipe off the excess cream after 30 mins, This will ensure that your eyes are not puffy the next morning.
  4. Steam the face at least once a week if your skin is blemished. Clean the face thoroughly before steaming to unclog the pores of the skin.
