Natural Skin Toner - Toner for Skin Care of Dry and Oily Skin

Skin Toners works best for oily skin, because it's used for tightening pores. Dab some on a cotton ball and swipe over face after cleansing. If you have normal skin, use the mild type astringents. If you have dry skin, you probably shouldn't even use it, but if you must, look for the alcohol-free kind. It may not work for you at all if you have sensitive skin, though...

Toning is the "light and gentle" part of your skin care regimen. Toners have an evaporating and cooling action that causes facial muscles to contract and the pores to become temporarily smaller. This keeps the face from being exposed to many of the toxins that are floating in the air or other environmental pollutants. Toners should consist of water, herbs, and other natural ingredients - no alcohol or harsh chemicals. Toning is pleasant and refreshing.

Toners can act as an additional cleanser on very oily or dirty skin and are valuable in removing any traces of grease that your Cleanser may have left behind. Think of it as the polishing touch in your skin care regimen. Be sure to choose a Toner that is appropriate for your skin type and condition.

After cleansing, apply Toner onto cotton ball or round and gently smooth over the face. Do not rinse off. Tone face daily in the morning and evening. Can also be used to freshen skin during the day.
