Oily Skin Treatment Products - Best makeup care for Oily Skin

Oily facial skin types are in all age groups and prone to acne or breakouts with blackheads, papules (bumps) and pustules. The skin is usually shiny and can be thick and rough. The sebaceous glands are overactive producing more oil than needed causing clogged pores where bacteria is likely to grow causing problems on the face. Pores are larger in the middle of the face (t-zone). As people age the oil decreases in their skin.

There are many causes for oily skin.

If either of your parents or grandparents have oily skin then you're more likely to have it also. Oily skin may be caused by hormone levels during the teen years or during pregnancy. Some people notice it when taking birth control pills.

One cause you may not think about is nutrition.Make sure you're eating a well-balanced diet with green vegetables, fruits and whole-grain cereals. You might also check the grocery store for "organic" foods because they have no pesticides which are bad for your skin.

Even though your face is oily its best not to use strong or harsh cleansers that will leave your skin taut and uncomfortable. Also don't overdo the cleansing process.twice a day is enough and no more than 3 times a day.

Use an oil-based cleanser that will nourish your skin as well as cleanse. And always opt for an oil-free moisturizer. Your toner should be specifically for oily skin and a good clay mask with minerals is also very beneficial. Night cream should be light and one that will nourish the skin and non-comedogenic (not clog pores).

For those under 25 there shouldn't be a need for moisturizers.but you can be the judge of that because there are so many things which can affect the facial skin. Oil on the face decreases as we age but some adults still experience oily skin well into adulthood.
